Our Mission

Celebrate the Makers

Behind the Magic

A central part of our mission is to support the rich local agricultural culture of Sonoma County, including celebrating the farmers and farmworkers - those who sustain the region’s deep legacy of viticulture and culinary excellence. Through their care and passionate diligence in growing high quality ingredients, great food and wines are made possible.

Through the lens of community, sustainability and culinary diversity, we are committed to making an impact here and beyond!

Support the Community

A substantial donation from our consumer ticket sales and sponsorships will go to local organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of farmers and their families.

  • Farm to Pantry

In 2008, the nonprofit Farm to Pantry was launched to serve a need in our local community: to provide a continuous supply of fresh, healthy produce to our most vulnerable neighbors who lack access to it by cultivating a community of growers and volunteers. The mission then and now is to bring together communities to end food injustice and reverse global warming by rescuing and sharing locally-grown food with those who have been systematically marginalized. Farm to Pantry envisions a just food system in which everyone has access to healthy food that honors and nourishes our community and heals the planet through eliminating food waste, and we are proud to support their important work.

  • Sonoma County Fundación de la Voz de los Viñedos

To showcase our commitment to the region and our support of local agriculture, we will be making a significant contribution to the Sonoma County Fundación de la Voz de los Viñedos by directing a share of sponsorship and attendee net proceeds. These funds will help support the Leadership Academy and workforce development for Sonoma County vineyard employees and their families. The Leadership Academy is thought to be the nation’s only program for vineyard employees intended to create future leaders in their industry and the local community.

  • Future Farmers of America (Healdsburg Chapter)

Inspiring the Next Generation: We continue to raise funds for the HWFE Future Farmers Scholarship, a scholarship created by HWFE for students from the local Healdsburg High School FFA chapter who decide to further their education in farming and agriculture.

Lead by Example

The Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience will fully embrace an environmentally conscious and sustainability focused programming schedule and event footprint. Our premier sponsors are driving this conversation forward through regenerative farming practices and renewable energy initiatives that reduce the impact on the planet.

Celebrate Culinary Diversity

Our chefs, wine experts, seminar leaders, and local business partners come from a wide variety of cultural and geographic backgrounds. Together, they make this event like no other—with culinary diversity, innovation, and experimentation at the forefront.
